Supporting the implant dentistry market

Using advanced processing capabilities, we manufacture centerless ground bar in a range of sizes and high-performance alloys that provide corrosion resistance, enhance strength, and achieve tight tolerances to support the highest function of dental implants.

Typical end uses

  • Abutments
  • Analogues
  • Cover screws
  • Drills
  • Guide pins
  • Implants
  • Impression copings
  • Instruments
  • Mini implants

Alloys

Here's a list of alloys we commonly work with and use in a majority of the products purchased by our implant dentistry customers. If you don't see the alloy you want to use for your application, contact your sales representative to help with your request.

  • 316LVM stainless steel uniform chemistry, improved microcleanliness, and can be processed to improve ductility or corrosion resistance
  • 35N LT™ alloy strength, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, and good biocompatibility
  • Commercially pure titanium grades 1-4 Grade 1 has the highest corrosion resistance, formability, and lowest strength, whereas grade 4 offers the highest strength with moderate formability
  • Custom 455® alloy a soft, formable material that hardens with heat treatment for increased tensile strength
  • FWM™ 1058 alloy corrosion resistance, strength, fatigue resistance, and high elastic modulus
  • FWM™ 1537 alloy high strength, ductility, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and good biocompatibility
  • L-605 alloy high-strength properties at elevated temperatures along with good oxidation and corrosion resistance
  • MP35N® alloy strength, good biocompatibility, and corrosion resistance
  • Ti 6Al-4V ELI an alpha-beta titanium alloy containing 6% aluminum, 5% vanadium, and extra low interstitials

Additionally, here are alloys we're familiar with, but if you want more information, please reach out to your sales representative.

  • 17-4-PH® stainless steel martensitic alloy with high toughness, strength, and corrosion resistance
  • 17-7-PH® stainless steel alloy with high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue, good formability, and good corrosion resistance
  • 22Cr-13Ni-5Mn austenitic, nitrogen strengthened steel combining corrosion resistance comparable with 316 stainless steel, and greater strength
  • 440A high-carbon martensitic stainless steel that possesses good strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent hardness and wear resistance
  • Custom 465® martensitic age-hardenable alloy that offers an excellent combination of strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance
  • Ti 6Al-4V alpha-beta titanium alloy with high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance
  • Ti 6Al-7Nb high strength titanium alloy with excellent biocompatibility
  • TrimRite® a hardenable martensitic stainless steel that provides corrosion resistance and good cold formability
